Privacy policy
What we collect, why we collect it and how it is protected.
Information we collect
Your name, email address and optional phone number when you create an account; the organisation details you enter, such as name, address, contact details and tax identifiers; and the business records you create, including customers, invoices, receipts, payments and expenses.
How we use it
To operate your account, generate the documents you ask for, show your reports, secure access to your organisation and communicate with you about the service. We do not sell your information.
Where it is stored
Your data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database with access rules that restrict every record to the organisation it belongs to. Traffic to the application is encrypted over HTTPS.
Who can see your records
Only people you invite into your organisation, limited further by the role you give them. Our staff do not browse customer records as a matter of routine and access is limited to what support or maintenance genuinely requires.
Analytics
We may measure aggregate usage of the public website to understand which pages are useful. Invoice contents, customer details, passwords and payment information are never sent to analytics tools.
Cookies and sessions
We use cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember which organisation you last opened. These are required for the application to function.
Retention and deletion
Financial records are retained while your account is active so your history stays intact. You can ask us to delete your account and its data; we will do so unless we are required to keep something by law.
Your choices
You can view, correct and export the records you have created from within the application at any time.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and note the date below.
