Who is OSpark Studio for?

Small businesses, freelancers, service providers, Ganesh mandals, societies, trusts and NGOs — anyone who issues bills or receipts and needs a countable record of what was collected.

Do I need to know accounting to use it?

Accepted Answer

No. You pick a customer, add what you are charging for and the totals are worked out for you. Reports are written in plain figures rather than accounting terms.

Can I keep my existing customer list?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Upload an XLSX or CSV file, match your column headings to OSpark fields, review the preview and confirm. Rows with problems are shown to you instead of being silently skipped.

Can more than one person use the same organisation?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can invite team members and give each one a role — owner, admin, staff, collector, accountant or viewer — so a volunteer collecting money cannot change your organisation settings.

Is my organisation's data separate from everyone else's?

Yes. Every record is tied to your organisation and access rules are enforced on the server, not only in the screen you see.

Can I print receipts and save them as PDF?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every document has a preview that matches what gets printed, and printing to PDF produces the same layout with your logo and details.

Can I send a bill on WhatsApp?

Accepted Answer

You can share a document with a pre-filled WhatsApp message from both phone and computer. Official WhatsApp Business API messaging is a separate integration planned for later.

Does it support GST?

Accepted Answer

Invoices carry tax per line item along with GSTIN, PAN and state details on your organisation, so GST-style bills can be issued. Automated government e-invoicing is not part of this version.

Can I take online payments through OSpark?

Accepted Answer

Not yet. You record payments you have received by cash, UPI, bank transfer or cheque. Online payment collection is planned.

What happens if I make a mistake on a bill?

Accepted Answer

You can edit a document while it is still open, and cancel it once it has been issued. Cancelled documents stay in your records rather than disappearing, so your numbering stays honest.
